Key Code Delivery
Key-codes are typically used to unlock trial software, activate
phone cards, distribute passwords, or to send unique information
with the purchase of a product. AShop does not make the keys. That
must be done in conjunction with the software or wrapper protection
system that is being used. Keys are uploaded from a text file through
the AShop admin panel and stored in the database. When a product
that has key codes is purchased, one of the key codes for that product
is sent in the emailed receipt and assigned to that customer.
Each key code is given out once. Used and unused key codes are
reported for each product through the browser based administration
panel. The administrator is automatically alerted when key codes
are running low or have run out for each product.
