AShop Software will never sell, rent, or lease your name or contact information to any third party.
In order to purchase our software, clients must provide their name and email address. Complete address information and phone number is only required when paying by credit card. The domain where our software is installed will be known to us through the license key registration.
In order for AShop Software clients to use our hosted services, they must provide contact and web site information at the time of registration (site name, username, email, URL). This information is necessary to keep track of individual accounts and to contact our clients when needed.
Financial information collected such as credit card number and expiration date is used only to charge our customers for service(s) that they are purchasing. It will never be given to any third party (other than the credit card authorization center).
Personal information, such as name and email, are used primarily to recognize individual accounts. Occasionally AShop Software will use individually identifiable information, like email addresses, in order to contact the user for technical support or provide product update and account information.
AShop Software occasionally provides various opt-out newsletters to its members. Members can unsubscribe from these newsletters at their own will.
We have put security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of all information under our control. All orders are processed via a secure server (SSL) and credit card details will never be emailed.
We do not retain or store any credit card information on our servers or at our place of business. All credit card information that is used to purchase products and services from AShop Software is processed and stored by PayPal.com on their secure servers.
The AShop shopping cart software includes methods to integrate with payment services. Secure payment forms are connected using SSL encryption and are either provided by the payment service or hosted within the domain where the shopping cart software is installed. If the payment service provider provides the payment form, it is protected by SSL encryption through the payment service web site. If the payment form is hosted on the local server, the domain where the shopping cart is installed must have SSL support and a secure URL is required in order for the shopping cart software to connect to the payment form.
Customer information such as name, address, and phone number may be saved when orders are processed through the AShop shopping cart software. When a payment service is used to process orders, credit card numbers, expiration dates and security codes are NOT saved through the AShop software or the database that is used by the software. When using the off-line credit card processing option to manually process credit card information, the credit card number, expiration date, and security code is encrypted and temporarily stored in the shopping cart database and then the credit card information is automatically deleted immediately after processing of each order.
AShop Software makes every effort to ensure that the information users provide is correct and up to date. Users are provided with a welcome email after they sign up for our service. Members can change their information any time by contacting us through a secure contact form, which posts directly to our secure service desk and does not send information through email.
